FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Lacey West Fowler Receives Certification in Child Welfare from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization

 

AUSTIN (January 11, 2023) − Texas Board of Legal Specialization (TBLS) announced Lacey West Fowler received Board Certification in Child Welfare. Lacey West Fowler currently practices in Harris and Tarrant county where she is part of the Law Office of Lacey West, LLC.


Board Certification is a voluntary designation program certifying Texas attorneys in 25 specific areas of law. Board Certified attorneys must be licensed for at least five years, devote a required percentage of practice to a specialty area for at least three years, attend continuing education seminars, pass an evaluation by fellow lawyers and judges and pass a 6-hour written examination.


TAFLS statistics show that Texas has over 100,000 licensed attorneys and fewer than 900 are board certified in family law. It is an honor to be counted among those certified.

Board Certification is offered in 25 specific areas of law to attorneys. Initial Certification is valid for five years.
